goddamn but i do hate this winter
the story behind this song is so fucking cool, been reading "shakey". had never heard this before and damn if it ain't my favorite now. 30 days in the studio makin' this one, playing 80% of the instruments himself and tweakin knobs with jack nitzche and bleedin' out all over the tape. so lush and full and maudlin....matches my mood right now to a tee, wish it was warm enough to ride, guess this tequila will have to do...

at least i've got one woman in my life who will never let me down. well...no longer than a trip to the mechanic.
52 is still a bit cool for a january ride, but damn i needed it something fierce. cleared my head right up...

64 at 11pm in january....had to let the gal out of the shed tonight, and even though she soooooo needs to go to the shop,once on the road she was chompin at the bit....bless her lil heart, we had such fun......aaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiii
