deja vu ride

so im switching off the graveyard shift finally, so i decided to stay up as long as possible so as to switch my clock. 2 pots of coffee, some adderol, 25 hours later and an adventure filled day i am fully satiated and blissed out. so at 6am after work i took an early ride up the devils elbow up onto the highland rim and then headed up the ridges to the old union hill dragstrip. had never actually been there and the roads on the map looked sufficiently twisty & hilly enough to become my random destination. the ride is super nice up there, but that early i was seeing a lot of deer. thankfully the wildlife deterrent pipes on the nurple mostly flushed em out early. then back into the city to take my gal and her kids out for brunch. excusing myself once they started getting all chorey back at their house, i took off for a ride, but stopped in at the musicians practice warehouse to see some friends and watch some killer double lead metal band practice. at this point the adderol had really kicked in so i hit the highway out to the ol swimming hole for the first time this season, damn it felt so good. and thats when this post gets all deja vu-ey and becomes just like a post this time last year. so just when i thought the day couldnt get any better, i remembered there was a crawfish boil right down hwy 12 in ashland city. hangin out with lifelong bros, mud bugs and a 2nd pot of coffee...what a day
